Silesian Competence Centre for Industry 4.0 [02.2018 - 12.2020]

Silesian Competence Centre of Industry 4.0 (SCCI 4.0) was established as a joint venture of Katowice Special Economic Zone, SA&AM Cluster Coordinator, and Silesian University of Technology.

The consortium agreement was signed on February 21^st, 2018 in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology.

SCCI 4.0 operated in the "one-stop-shop" model offering knowledge and access to advanced Industry 4.0 technologies. The Centre guided its clients through individual stages digital transformation process. As a result, clients:

• become more aware of benefits and threats of digitization,
• better plan and go through the digital transformation,
• efficiently engage ystaff in digital transformation,
• establish more dynamic company (flexible, aware, quickly reacting to changes).

Silesian Competence Centre of Industry 4.0 collaborated with various technology suppliers and supports digital transformation in industrial companies.

The Centre supported the digital transformation of industrial enterprises in Silesian region and neighbouring districts by identifying the challenges the company faces, developing, demonstrating and testing potential solution, as well as  preparing and implementing Industry 4.0 projects in the company. On top of it, SCCI 4.0 activities included the staff competence development.
