Webinar
“The new normal in Automotive”
07.05.2020 [13.00-15.00]
On behalf of the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland and the Katowice Special Economic Zone we are happy to invite you to the webinar “The new normal in Automotive”. The webinar is open to members of the Chamber and of the cluster Silesia Automotive & Advanced Manufacturing.
The situation in Europe remains critical. With many countries in a partly or total lockdown situation, new vehicle sales fell by 50% in Western Europe in March 2020. A quick recovery is not expected. In the meantime companies in the automotive sector are confronted with a new reality – securing supply regionally in case of continental isolation scenarios; securing productivity and motivation of labour force in a situation of continuous uncertainty and stress related to health conditions; considering digital transformation as a means to enable continuity of less people-dependent production processes and remote planning, monitoring and management. While on national level new measures are being proposed to support companies in general, regionally the Katowice Special Economic Zone is providing a COVID-19 quick reaction team with representatives of over 120 companies meeting regularly online and sharing best practices on dealing with the current situation. During the webinar we would like to share our experiences and discuss with you how we can move on in automotive.
